Customer Questions

How do ball bearings and roller bearings differ?

Ball bearings are ideal for high-speed rotation, while roller bearings are more suited for high loads.

Do cylindrical roller bearings come with seals?

Because cylindrical roller bearings have separable inner and outer rings, they generally come in an open specification without seals.
As such, please apply seals or other protection around the equipment mounting.

How are the EW, EM, and ET Series different?

EW Series bearings are small and utilize pressed cages, making them suitable for standard operating conditions.
ET Series bearings use polyamide-resin cages suited for high temperatures.
Finally, EM Series bearings have machined brass cages for use in harsh applications such as gearboxes and vibrating machinery or in environments where the bearing must be quiet, such as in mid-to-large size motors.
